How to use this practice
Use your interview invitation to build the preparation list, then select app exercises that address specific tasks on that list.
1. List the assessed tasks
Separate spoken cases, technical questions and other assessment stages. Confirm the current process with the employer rather than assuming the job title determines it.
2. Check the available material
Read question descriptions and drill settings before starting. A relevant topic is useful practice even when it isn't a replica of the firm's question.
3. Cover the remaining formats
Rehearse written work, group discussion or other required tasks in the setting they'll be assessed. A one-to-one voice mock doesn't substitute for those formats.
Make a task-to-practice checklist
This is a suggested preparation exercise, not an app feature. Take the format described in your invitation and write one line for each assessed task.
- For a spoken business case, select a relevant case mock and a drill for your weakest calculation or structure.
- For a valuation discussion, select a relevant finance calculation and prepare an explanation of its assumptions.
- For an investment pitch, rehearse the thesis and one risk that would change your view.
- For each task, record whether you've found suitable practice material. Put any uncovered assessment stage on a separate preparation list.
How to interpret the results
- Entering a role during setup doesn't establish that every specialist interview format for that role has a dedicated practice library.
- Published firm and role guides explain preparation. They don't guarantee an identical set of questions is available in the app.
- Check the current question bank and your plan's access before building a preparation schedule around a particular exercise.
